1, Overview

  The DD - R21 Ku - band medium - range monopolar array radar is a highly advanced piece of equipment. It incorporates a fully solid - state, fully coherent, and pulse Doppler system. This system is a key enabler as it allows for all - weather detection capabilities. In particular, it is designed to perform early warning functions for "low, small, slow" targets. These types of targets can be quite challenging to detect due to their characteristics.

  To enhance its detection and classification capabilities, the radar makes use of machine learning and AI recognition technologies. These technologies are based on two important aspects: "micro - Doppler signatures" and "flight path features". Leveraging these, the radar can effectively detect and classify a wide variety of targets. This includes drones, which have become increasingly common in various airspace scenarios. Light aircraft, helicopters, powered triplanes, airships, and airborne balloons are also among the targets it can accurately identify. One of the most remarkable aspects is that it achieves this with extremely low false alarm rates, ensuring reliable performance.

  The radar also has a unique two - dimensional phase scanning system. This system provides great flexibility as it can be expanded into different configurations. For instance, it can be configured as "azimuth mechanical scanning + elevation phase scanning". This particular configuration might be beneficial in certain applications where a more detailed and targeted scanning approach is required. Additionally, it can be transformed into multi - polar arrays. These different configurations are crucial as they can meet the diverse application requirements across various fields, whether it's for security monitoring, air traffic management in specific areas, or other related tasks.

4) Leveraging machine learning technology, it can adapt to the environment. There is no requirement for parameter adjustment, and it can be directly launched to commence work.

5) It is equipped with a cloud and rain noise suppression function, enabling it to operate throughout the day.

6) The software allows for the configuration of pitch coverage, target update rate, and range settings.

7) It features automatic compensation functions for independent positioning, orientation, pitch, and roll angles.
